What is the Keto Diet?
The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, adequate-protein, low-carbohydrate diet that in medicine is used primarily to treat difficult-to-control (refractory) epilepsy in children. The diet forces the body to burn fats rather than carbohydrates.
While we may be big fans of carbs and sweets around here, that doesn’t mean that cutting those things out of our recipe rotation leaves us with bland, flavorless food options. I decided to scour Pinterest for the best of the best, the tastiest of all Keto-friendly recipes. Based off of the mouth-watering keto recipes I found, I’ll definitely be dipping my toe into some of these dishes, snacks, and desserts.
